苦尾菜 bitter romaine
Visit mother again. This time round in saw some flowering bitter romaine, 苦尾菜in her mini garden patch. Beautiful flowers with tiny black seeds. Father said if I want to keep the seeds, use a plastic bag to enclose the ripened seeds before pinching the stalk otherwise the tiny light seeds will be dispersed while they were shaken. What a wise advice. Yes, I wanna bring home to Singapore and plant it in the garden.
I stumble upon Jane's blogs post on苦尾菜. Read her full post on how she grew her 苦麦菜 at home in Kulai, Malaysia.
