Therapeutic gardens
There are 2 therapeutic gardens in Singapore. One is in Hort Park, while the other is in Bishan AMK park. T herapeutic Gardens are outdoor gardens designed to meet the physical, psychological and social needs of park users, incorporating design principles derived from scientific evidence . Together with therapeutic horticulture programmes such as leaf pressing and gardening, visitors can experience a range of health benefits such as the relief of mental fatigue, reduced stress and an overall improvement to emotional well-being. These gardens help people with dementia and those with special needs. They improve memory, motor skills, and create happy hormones, among of the many benefits. I can't wait to visit these therapeutic gardens and see how it helps us! It also improves mental health as we re-connect to mother nature.
