Gardener's Day Out

Today we visited Hort Park for its Gardeners Day Out. Gardeners Day Out is conducted every 3rd Saturday of the month. They sell gardening things and conduct gardening workshops as well as garden tours. They also have a hort clinic where you can consult NParks about your plants. And the best thing is that they are free! (Unless you buy things) They sold lots of stuff ranging from succulents to indoor plants to hydrponics to seeds. NParks also sold butterfly attacting, bird attracting and pollinating plants at affordable prices. We bought a refreshing smelling cologne mint plant for $8 and coconut juice as well as some apricots to munch on. Too bad we did not have the chance to attend the workshops! Other than that, we visted the different themed gardens in Hort Park. They include the kitchen garden, Balinese garden, edible garden, butterfly garden, native garden, and therapeutic garden.
